The Invitation

Good morning, dear one! 

You’re awake to a new day. 

The invitation is extended once again. 

You may choose the ordinary. 

You may choose the extraordinary. 

A pathway of light. 

A pathway of brilliance. 

The irony is in the quietness of greatness. 

What appears vibrant distracts from what truly flourishes.  

Each moment extends an opportunity. 

Motivation shows up after you start. 

It isn’t all upstream. 

It’s in the choice of one river over another.

Surrendered to myself or to God.

Surrender is not a battle.

It’s giving up the battle.

It’s acknowledging that the battle has been fought and won.

It’s seeing that you never really wanted what you were fighting for in the first place.

The pathway is cleared.

Now walk in it.
